Who it's for

  • A

You’re an attorney or paralegal scheduling an interpreter for a deposition, a hearing, or a client meeting with a non-English-speaking party or witness.

  • B

You’re an individual with your own legal proceeding — a hearing, a consultation, or a deposition — who needs an interpreter present.

  • C

Your matter is in or near Greater Cincinnati, Dayton, or Columbus, Ohio, and you want an on-site interpreter, or you need remote interpreting for a matter anywhere in the country.

  • D

You need to book with enough lead time to confirm language pair and mode before the date is fixed.

What's included

Included

  • A legal interpreter for the language pair and mode (on-site or remote) you book.
  • Billing by the hour, with the minimum stated upfront — 2 hours on-site, 1 hour remote.
  • Confirmation of language pair, mode, date, and location before the booking is final.

Not included

  • Document translation — if you also need the underlying documents translated (exhibits, transcripts of the proceeding), order that separately as one of our translation services.
  • Legal representation or advice — the interpreter renders language, not legal counsel.
  • Simultaneous conference-style interpreting equipment for large multi-party events — this service is scoped for depositions, hearings, and meetings; tell us if your event is larger so we can confirm fit before booking.

Why us, for this document type

A specialty most agencies bury

Court and legal interpreting gets its own page, its own pricing, and its own booking process here — not a line buried inside an "Industries" menu.

Clear minimums, stated upfront

2 hours on-site, 1 hour remote — the minimum and the rate are visible before you book, not disclosed after.

On-site where it counts, remote everywhere else

In-person coverage in Greater Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus, Ohio; remote interpreting for a matter anywhere in the country.

Frequently asked questions

Do you provide on-site interpreters outside Ohio?

On-site coverage is Greater Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus, Ohio. For a matter outside that area, remote interpreting is available nationwide.

What’s the minimum booking?

Two hours for on-site interpreting, one hour for remote.

Can I book a same-day interpreter?

Availability depends on the language pair and date — contact us with your date and language pair as early as you can; legal interpreting bookings are more time-sensitive than our document translation services and aren’t guaranteed same-day.

What if the session runs longer than booked?

You’re billed for any additional time at the same hourly rate. We’ll always confirm actual time at the end of the session before finalizing the charge.

Can you interpret for a language that isn’t common?

Tell us the language pair when you book — availability and rate depend on the language; we’ll confirm both before the booking is final.

What’s your cancellation policy for interpreting bookings?

Free cancellation 48 hours or more before the assignment; a 50% fee within 48 hours; the full fee applies within 12 hours of the assignment or for a no-show. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for full terms.

Do you also translate the documents involved in the case?

Yes — order document translation separately (Sworn & Court-Certified or Litigation & eDiscovery, depending on the material) alongside your interpreting booking.

Book a legal interpreter, on-site or remote, from $115.00/hour.
