Will you translate the stamps and marginal notes, or just the main text?
Everything. Registry stamps, seals, and handwritten annotations are part of the document, and part of what we translate — this is the most common thing a rushed translation gets wrong.
Do I need a notarized translation of my birth certificate?
Only if the specific office you’re submitting it to asks for one. Most US institutions accept a certified translation without notarization; a few — often banks and DMVs — specifically require notarization. Check your form, or add notarization here if you’re not sure and want to cover it.
What’s the difference between this and the USCIS Immigration page?
Both produce a certified translation of the same kind of document. This page is for a certificate you’re submitting somewhere other than a USCIS filing — a bank, school, court, or state agency. If you’re specifically filing with USCIS, that page includes the certification language USCIS filings are built around.
My certificate is two pages with a stamp on the back — how is that priced?
By word count, in 250-word units. A short certificate with a stamped back page is usually still one "page" by our definition once you add the words on both sides — the order form shows the exact price before you commit.
